Designed to Inspire

Hi, I’m Diana Cornejo! I’m a proud Mexican-American fashion designer, born and raised in Sanford, North Carolina. As the oldest in my family, I’ve always felt a deep drive to make my parents proud and honor their hard work. My mom, who was an art teacher in Mexico, inspired my creativity early on, and I discovered my love for sewing when I designed my own prom dress—a moment that changed everything for me.

After high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps and served for eight years. It was a challenging but rewarding experience that taught me leadership, discipline, and resilience—qualities that continue to shape my journey. Since then, I’ve had incredible opportunities, from showcasing my collection at Philadelphia Fashion Week to pursuing my education at Thomas Jefferson University.

My passion is creating sustainable, ethical womenswear that’s both practical and eco-friendly. I believe in designing fashion that not only makes people feel good but also makes a positive impact on the world.

The best advice I’ve ever received is: “Just start.”
